Well I dont know if everyone will agree with me but this is what wroks for us. I too most of the time keep Hayley confined to a couple rooms and don not let her run free exp once in a while. She is 22 weeks old and she is about 75% pee pad trained and now we are working on outside and that seems to be easier than pads for us. However I have 3 pads in living room where she is and 2 pads in the office where the computer is, that is the 2 rooms she romes freely. I took up all pads but 2 and she kept goin to where the pads use to be so I put them back down. She may go all day and not even use pads she goes out but if she has too go then they are there. So I would say put a couple down in each room but be prepared to leave them for a while
