Sorry to hear that Layla needs surgery.....I am sure that you have found a good specialist to do her surgery and it will go well. We have been thru this twice now..... Shelby had both back knees done and most recently Seymour had his left knee done and an ACL tear repair.
I will tell you that recovery seems to go a bit slow and she will need to be pampered! Seymour had his surgery about 5 1/2 weeks ago and he still gets a little sore and tired at the end of the day. He will be having his 2nd physical therapy session this coming Tuesday.
Thoughts go out to you and Layla!!! Hopefully her issues now won't affect her having the surgery and she, too, will be on the road to recovery in no time!
