Welcome, and congrats on your new puppy! As for names, that's entirely between you and your husband. We gave our dogs first and middle names. Maybe you could settle on a combination of the two names? As for having a puppy/dog in bed with you, that's a personal choice. We always had our puppies in bed with us from the day we got them. As they got older, we let them sleep whereever they want. At least when they were puppies and were in bed with us at night, I would feel them get up in the middle of the night and I'd quickly get up and take them outside to potty. It has worked well for us. Sounds like she's a typical puppy otherwise. Good luck with her. I think you will do well together!
