Will someone be available to let your pup out when you arent home. Yorkies are a very special breed and they love to be with their people.
If you decide on a yorkie, be very selective as to whom your breeder will be, dont fall for the 'teacup' line as there is no such thing.
Many of us here have bought from byb, inadvertedly puppymills, and pet stores, and many know the heartache of losing/caring for the pups that come from these places. Buyer beware!
Buy your breeder first, and ask questions.
A yorkie should never leave its mother before 12wks of age...they are generally small(some are Bigger) and need mother to teach them the necessary social skills they will need, to adjust to a new home/.
A well socialized, healthy yorkie is truly a joy to own.
They are truly one of the most unique, funny, inquisitive, smart, loyal breeds i have had the pleasure of being with.
They are the best!
You will find wonderful and knowledgeabe ppl here, who would be glad to share their experiences with you.
Welcome to YT
