Only you would know the answer to that question, but I do know that many yorkie owners work and have furbabies. You would just have to read up extensively on the yorkie personality and honestly decide if this is a good match for you and your family. I can tell you they are loving and beautiful and amazing dogs BUT they can be difficult to potty train, they really need ALOT of human contact, can be expensive (vet bills, dentals etc). Just do as much research as you can and read the stories on here from people who live with this type of dog, that would be my advice..
