How in the world could you have known he was badly injured because he was yelling if he's always? Unless he was yelling "Help!" or "I'm bleeding!" or something, how could you know he was injured? You would have helped had you known he was in dire trouble but you didn't know. Still, I can understand how queasy you must feel & how you can't get that sound out of your head for a while. It is human nature and it sounds like your heart & conscience are working just fine. Hope the guy is going to be okay & he will stop yelling so much at his family. And I hope you don't feel guilty!
