My puppies boyfriend just had surgery for the legges perthes, and it went real well. It was done a week and a half ago. and he was tring to run around like his crazy self afterwards. You have to keep them calm until the stitches come out. Then therapy!
They could have traded the puppy in for another one (he is 8 months). But there was no way they could give up their baby. So they will just eat the cost.
I also would not breed your puppy. Their are many different opinions on whether or not it is herriditary (can't spell).
