@my yorkietalk family – It has been three days and Cayenne is doing much better. She is not her normal active self but the meds seems to be working so far. She is no longer limping and crying in pain. I will be bringing her back for a follow up visit in a few days.
I want to thank all of you for your prayers and concerns. I would not have gotten through this with you all.
@TxVicki – The vet did not give me anything to stabilize her neck, just pain medication. However, she is now moving her neck without yelling in pain.
@Yorkietalkjilly – I will insist they give her an x-ray when I take her for the follow-up visit.
I will keep you all posted on her recovery progress.
