A little work of caution. I bought a babble ball for the girls. It's one of those indistructable type balls that makes animal noises when it's rolled about the side of or slightly larger than a tennis ball. My Staffordshire terrier was playing with Lily and Molly chasing the ball. She picked it up and it became wedged between her teeth. She panicked a bit but eventually managed to dislodge it with her paw. She was running around with it in her mouth and I couldn't catch get to help. Anyway later she was chewing on a treat when I noticed blood on it. I checked her moth and both upper canines were snapped off about 1/4 inch from the root. One was hanging loose. I took hr to the vet. She needs surgery to remove the rest of both teeth as the nerves are exposed. She is going in this morning. Is a fairly complicated op as there is little to grip and the vet will dig into the gum to release it. Approx 2hrs under anisthetic he expects. Coost around £550. She is over 9 yrs old do a bit anxious about it all. I am going to write to the company to make them aware iv potential problems but it's just one of those freak accidents you can't foresee.
