And I totally agree with you about recalls. Merrick is US based and uses only ingredients from the US and their formulas look very good to me...there is definitely a lot worse you could feed your dogs. It can be hard for some people to find a quality food that is also easily accessible and affordable and something they feel comfortable giving their pets. In the end, you just have to feed what your pets do well on!
I hope I didn't sound like I was getting on your case! It's sounds like your doing a ton of research and have your dogs' best interest at heart so I'm sure you'll end up with a great food for them!
