Well KimMee is chewing on a bully stick right now. I let her chew on it everyday, especially in the evening when hubbby and I want to watch tv- the really thick one I got has lasted over a month and it cost $3.95. I got some thinner ones and I would say they have lasted a week each and that is with chewing everyday for maybe two hours. I got a pack of 5 at PetSmart for about $6.00. The ones in the package didn't smell as bad as the first one I got. Some of them can really stink. |
Thanks for the info! So, these are something that last a long time apparently (depending on how aggressive a chewer they are). I'll try to find some tonight or order them tomorrow. Can't wait to see her reaction!
One other thing though.... should I keep her off of the leather couch when she's chewing on this thing? Sounds like it gets a bit sticky and we have one of those kinda sueded leather couches that will show wet spots. The floors are wood and the rugs are dark so I'm not worried about those - just thinking about the couch.
