I don't necessarily agree with "the best food is the one your dog will eat." While I think it's important to find something they find tasty... most 5 year old children I know would choose to eat McDonald's over their fruits and veggies every day. But I don't think that means it's the best food for them.
I am sure Jackson would love to chow down on Beneful and Ol' Roy every day. They coat it with lots of crap to make it tasty. Doesn't mean it's the best for him.
But I do agree a lot of dogs will turn their nose up at food and it shouldn't mean you go and switch right away or anything! That'll create a picky monster

LOL... and if she's doing well on the Royal Canin, stick with it.
