When it comes to toys of any sort if Lowie (our girl) has it, brand, make or model doesn't matter (lol), Chowie (our boy) HAS to have it. It cracks us up b/c he will totally be engrossed in something else but as soon as she has it he wants in on the action... lol
I just think it's part of play, not being left out, and their rank in the pack.
