What I see is an adorable Yorkie! My local Petland sells "yorkies" with questionable backgrounds. No AKC - very obviously not quality, they look sad and pitiful. Makes you want to buy them all to rescue them, but I know that they would only be replaced by others in the same condition. I assume they are puppy mill pups
. I have not stepped foot in a Petland in several years - the last time I saw a family fawning over a "yorkie" and I quietly cautioned them about pet store pups, gave them YorkieTalk's website and shared a few questions they should as when looking for a pup --
What registery - if it isn't AKC then you don't know what you are getting.....
What is the health guarantee
Can I speak to the Vet who has taken care well puppy check ups
How was the puppy raised - in a home environment or in a cage....
Of course a Petland employee couldn't answer ANY of them without putting their foot in their mouth.
