OMG that is scary...My dad uses a recliner but luckily my Yorkie would rather be on top with him than down under it! I wonder, could you use a pillow or something to block him...and maybe a bit of repellent like bitter apple on the pillow to train your dogs to NOT go under there....I think they also have "scat mats" to stop cats from going on beds...maybe something like that could be placed under your recliner to stop him and your other dog from going under the recliner at all...
