Like, put it on when they are calm and relaxed so they know how they are supposed feel when wearing it.

Oh that makes sense.... I can see trying to put a new coat on a dog that's already freaked out, lol! Never thought about it before. After these storms last night, I'll be looking into getting one or two of them.
