I do have a question though. I just took him for a walk and normally he walks pretty fast, even in this heat. Today he kept stalling, as if he was trying to get me to stop. I have been feeling kind of weak and dizzy due to a heart condition. I am wondering now if he did that because he sensed that and was trying to protect me somehow or am i reading too much into that? Obviously there are service dogs out there but dj has not been trained. If he did do that to try to protect me, that is a lot of love. He is the best dog i have ever had as it is.

you know , dogs are very perceptive. They can sense things that we never would. I think its very possible that dj sensed you were not feeling well.
