The small would probably be fine for Tibbe as he would likely only sleep on part of it. Whenever I try to get him to sleep on a heating pad or cooling pack(I have some flat bubble-type ones that I use on my hip), he only puts part of his body on the pad, warm or cool. He won't fully commit his whole body to either! I guess he is like a man cooling himself by sticking one leg out from under the covers!
