It has been a while since I posted. DJ is doing awesome and I am happy to say ain't uh gonna see a pound again in his lifetime... unless it is pound cake, no chocolate
. I do have a question though. I just took him for a walk and normally he walks pretty fast, even in this heat. Today he kept stalling, as if he was trying to get ME to stop. I have been feeling kind of weak and dizzy due to a heart condition. I am wondering now if he did that because he sensed that and was trying to protect me somehow or am I reading too much into that? Obviously there are service dogs out there but DJ has not been trained. If he did do that to try to protect me, that is a lot of love. He is the best dog I have ever had as it is.
