I am so glad you made your decision and she's doing well.
I have been at a friend's for a few days and when I got back, I wondered if you had. I'm sure she will have some off days but you never know how people or animals react. My Mother didn't have a single side effect to chemo.
I think ladyjane gave you a wonderful answer to 'why some of us recommend a teaching hospital' The only thing I could add is the fact they don't seem to be swayed by the amount a procedure might bring in and for you, I think the overall cost will be less there.
