Get her the Bully Sticks! They work great. My pup even goes after the non-stinky kind, although if you want to get her attention away from the rugs, get the stinky one (it's really not that bad - but the kisses after a good long chew are awful!)

Also, is there any way you can take up the rug temporarily? Chewing is a natural behavior for puppies. It may dissapate when she gets older.

Moreover, on a sad note, I had a Wheaton that expired because he chewed on an area rug (while I was not home) and it twisted in his stomach. It can be very dangerious for your pup to ingest rug material.

Himalayan chews may also work - but that's a very hard chew. The bully sticks are easy to handle. If you go to a private pet store (NOT A CHAIN) you may find other natural products (not rawhide) that are safe for your puppy. It's a huge market now. Lucy also has some kind of horn thing that she goes to every once in awile.

Best wishes,
Tracey
