The hair can weigh the ears down. You can trim the hair off the ears...either the top third, top half, or completely off, and (carefully) trim the hair off the edges, too, then tape the ears. There re lots of instructions and differing ways to do that. If the ears just needed help or relief from the weight to stand, they will. Some have ear leather that is too thick and will never stand. Yorkie kisses are great regardless of whether or not a Yorkie has prick or floppy ears, though...
