We dropped Zachary off at the groomers at 7 AM for his first grooming and then went to Denny's for breakfast. They said he should be ready by noon (what time is is now??????). Several people came in and when I told them I had to wait for over 3 weeks for an appointment, they told me it was worth it.

I showed the groomer a picture of how I wanted his head/face done and told them I wanted his hair to grow in evenly on his body and that I wanted him to wear clothes so they could go short but not shaved. Shave top 1/3 of ears, clip butt hair, leave tail alone, trim nails.

They also have a "boutique" of all kinds of doggie stuff...bows, clothes, collars, etc and a 25% off sale. Oh boy...how to get out without spending money on that stuff.

Now to wait a bit longer and see how my baby looks when we are done. I KNOW he will not look like the dog I took in. Will post when I get him home.

This sounds like I post I would write. I have two at the groomers right now also. They went in at 9:30 and the owner is on vacation so the girl there said for me to please be patient. Hubby told me when he got back from dropping them off that the the girl said, this would be her first time doing Mia, that my Maltese. I called ahead and told her to do them the same as last time, meaning the length and to do a short ears and face. I'm not holding my breath. Never get the same anything at this place, but the kids are used to going there, so I stay!!!! Good luck with yours and can't wait to see pics!!
