It is probably best to use it, for safety... I honestly forgot that one
was even in there... Riley has never bothered it.... I think he is too
excited thinking about where we are going.... LOL I just keep it
dangled in the bag and the part that attaches to the harness is under
the bottom part of the bag that they lay on.
