Welcome to YT. I suggest that before you start actively trying to acquire a new pooch, you take some time to do a little more research on the breed. A good place to start is with the YT rules section, which brings to point a few very crucial points which you as a new member, have no doubt missed:
We do not allow threads begging for free puppies or looking for puppies at extreme reduced costs. Yorkies are generally from $500 on up, with most being in the $1000 to $1500 range. Please do not post looking for Yorkies below $500. If your budget for a Yorkie does not allow for $500 or more, you may want to look into Yorkie rescues or adoptions of older Yorkies, as they may be better suited to your price range.
Please note since there is no "teacup Yorkie" standard, any threads or posts looking for a teacup will be deleted or closed. There is no such breed!
Pretty much sums it up. Talk to some breeders, find out WHY their prices are what they are and the costs they are trying to cover before deeming them "ridiculous." You might be surprised. |
