Great response!

I know that they obviously would say this, since their foods are a bit higher protein/etc, so obvioulsy they are going to state it's better, just like if you e-mailed Royal Canin they would explain the benefits of corn, etc. So some may say this is biased but I think it's very good information. Ash being the most important! I have recently learned of the importance of low ash and what a difference it makes... if you have a food with high protein and high ash then yes it *could* be detrimental to the kidneys, and making them over-work. But Acana's formulas are all low in ash.
