Sad news. Zipp drowned yesterday. I went to see what the A/C maint workers wanted and forgot to close the slider to the porch. The old boy must have woke up, went out to take a pee and stumbled into the pool. By the time I got back to the dogs he was floating. Tried cpr but he was gone. I get his cremains back next Friday.
He was still doing OK for a 17 year Yorkie. Never missed a meal or an
opportunity for a treat. Always ready for a sneak treat from our plates.
Creatine was going down, 2.5 to 1.5 in May according to Dr Burger's office.
Still able to hop around, get in and out of the house. But age was slowly
catching up to him.
I found him via YorkieTalk back in Dec 2009 and flew up to Columbus Ohio and back 27 Feb 2010 to adopt him.
For those that did not him here is his story

The sweet, feisty old guy will be dearly missed.
I know he is on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge, well again with his
previous owner, not the ones that dumped him in the shelter at 15 years old, and waiting for me.
