My vet told me when she switched from the Iams Proactive stuff to the Royal Canin GI & then to the Hill's GI I/D that I probably would be surprised at how little of the Hill's Tibbe would eat in comparison to his Iams. She is right. I have small hands & take out only what I can grab in my fist for each meal & that's all he eats each meal, except a few of the pieces during the day that I use for treats. He hasn't lost an ounce in fact he's gained weight since he's been sick, weighing in Wednesday at 5.8 oz. I would imagine he gets about 3 tablespoons of the kibble morning & the same at night & more if he asks for it during the day, which he usually doesn't. His stool 1/3 smaller than before. He was not happy with Royal Canin but is really warming to his Hill's GI I/D.
