I also shave front and back, then I run the clipper off the edge of the ear, NOT up the edge of the ear, as you will cut it with the clipper...just use your finger as a support to the ear, and run the clipper off the edge of the ear, onto your finger.....I NEVER use scissors on the edges....but I am NOT a groomer, and they move arond too much, I would have my dogs ears looking like I had trimmed the edges with pinking shears!!
