I give both of mine a little bit of canned Nutro each night. My oldest (Japanese Chin / Poodle mix) has allergies and so I have to grind up his Benadryl pill each night and mix it in with the wet food to get him to eat it. Because of this, I of course have to give Lilly (Biewer Yorkie) some as well. Even though they have dry food in their bowl all day, come 5-6 o'clock, they let me know it is time for the good stuff....especially Lilly. If I take too long getting it together she starts to let out a couple of impatient wines like "for as long as you have been doing this, you'd think you would be quicker at it....what is the hold up!?!??!"
This week I got some of those pill pockets for Gizmo's medicine and he scrafs that thing right down without noticing that there is even a pill in there. So, while I could really do away with the wet food now, I just don't think they would ever forgive me!
