Not to toot my own horn, but i did a dang good job.
Daughter is a nurse, two boys in school...one in second year University (the youngest), the older boy in humber college.
Was it hard hell yeah!! Would i do it again.....hmmmmm probably not, i would have stopped at one...love them dearly but man not at all easy!
Dad was a deadbeat, so I just did what I needed to do.
Aside from my furbabies, they enrich and fill my life with joy.
My daughter has no desire to be a mom, I respect her for that.. it looks like the 6ft 5in basketball player will be the one to make me a granny!
I can wait though.
At this point in my life I'm good.
I have twin neice and nephew...9years old...what a handful! I say to my sister all the time your're good ...me I'm with them an hour and I'm exhausted!!
She has hubby to help, but geez...9YEAR OLD TWINS!!
At 25 i was out partying my backside off, two years later along came my daughter...she wasnt planned and I was little older, it still wasn't easy.
How do we do it? we just do....you will know IF and/or when you are ready. |

twins! Gosh your sister is amazing, wow. Raising well adjusted, kind, confident etc children is the hardest job in the world, so go ahead and toot your horn!!

. You'll have beautiful TALL grankids though
You know the funny thing is I'm not into the party scene anymore. I've been partying since I was 17, I'm over it. I pretty much spend my days building my company, loving on Ziggy or have lunch/dinner with friends. I'm more of a home body, so I know its not that. I like my life this way. I would like to meet a nice young man who also does NOT want kids and is content with "our" furbabies! Then I will be even happier with my life!
Its great to hear woman talking about just how hard it is. A lot of the time people don't tell you the whole story. But because I have seen it first hand it all just confirms my stance!lol
I'll stick to

I think
