my dog was diagnosed at a young age but never showed any real symptoms until about 6 i'd say. In April though, it was really almost overnight..she got very lazy, wouldn't walk, or eat much. Seemed to be in alot of pain. Did xrays and it was time. But it was 3 more days before they could do the surgery. She looked so sad and the pain meds i was given didn't help until the day before surgery it seemed.

I sat there and wished i hadn't waited until it got this bad...

I think you've been reading my thread about the surgery so you know but for anyone else .. i know it's hard to spend $2,000+ when there is no emergency but..if the surgery is deemed inevitable, do it sooner rather than later.
