Maggie has grade 3 LP. We really only had a problem one time though. We are holding off on doing surgery and see how she does. If she gets to a point where she has chronic problems with it we will do surgery. Until then though, we are holding off. The vet gave us all the options. This is just the option we chose. Good luck. I'm sure you'll know when it is necessary to do the surgery. Who knows, maybe she won't need it for a long time or maybe never.
