My groomer has new clients with young dogs come in every couple of weeks and they do a little at a time until the pup is used to coming to the place and being handled by the people there.
I really think that a lot of pets end up being shaved because that is what most people have done. They only bring those pets in when they are so bad they need to be shaved. |
I agree. Once I got all the mats out of Zachary (about a 3 day process after we got him), we started grooming him, everything from shaving ears to blow drying. I am hoping this will help us with our first grooming session tomorrow.
