Karen, will your bathroom be your go to stop for tornado warnings? You might consider keeping emergency supplies in there including a spare set of harnesses and leashes. I know in a moment of rushing, you might not consider runnin to the front door where the leashes are normally kept. (just guessing) If it were me in your shoes, I'd be running around getting ready to take shelter and trying to make the room comfortable. Having spares in there is just one more thing I don't have to worry about.
I'm so glad you three are safe! I've never experienced a tornado but they sound super scary.
