Bless your heart, I can totally can sympathize with you. I was a complete wreck when Yazmin was spayed months ago. It turned out she wasn't in as much pain as I was! I took her to my Vet 3 days in a row after her surgery worrying she was in a lot of pain because she didn't want to move and seemed to be lethargic. The vet assured me it was only the mild pain medication that was making her sleep alot and to expect her to be uncomfortable for a few days. He also adviced me to calm down since they do pick up on our feelings and that Yazi would heal much quicker. She was fine and back to normal with in a week.
I brought Yazi home in her carrier so she could lay how ever it was most comfortable for her.
