I have 2 yorkies, Lily and Tristan.
Tristan is almost 11 years old w/ thick, curly hair & has never shed.
Lily is almost 3 years old w/ straight, fine hair & is shedding like crazy! I didn't think much of it at first because it's very hot here. The only reason I'm getting worried is because she's losing clumps of hair all over the house & I noticed a bald spot on her side yesterday! It also worries me because, unfortunately, we have a field behind our house so the ticks and fleas are BAD in our backyard! Our dogs have flea collars & flea drops so the bugs don't last long if they do bite, but it only takes 1 bite to transfer a disease!
Should I be worried? Should I take her to the vet?
