They were born yesterday and I just weighed them today and their weights are right about the same. Shouldn't they be gaining a bunch? Any time I take the puppies out to weigh them the mama runs over and tries to grab them from me. She is very protective. No biting or growling but just shaking some when I take one to weigh it. They are all latching on every time I check on them. Not sure what to do. |

exactly the same with no gain whatsoever? Post today's weights.
Mine typically gain 1/2 oz to ounce a day...and usually the latter.
Is momma producing plenty of milk?
