You will find a lot of different attitudes about dog food even here. I personally was unaware of what was being used to make "dog food" these days until I got Gracie. She refused to eat any type of kibble as a puppy. I was forced to make her food for the first year of her life which forced me to read up on dog nutrition and also the pet food industry.
I now feed a commercial raw gain free food that she loves and does very well on. Many of the "grocery store" foods have very poor quality ingredients.
