I wanted to add that the first vet DID NOT ENCOURAGE Talida to tube feed her baby...she read everything and watch videos and finally did it, and was successful! She had been tube feeding thar baby for 4 days with no evidence that there was milk in her lungs....and the second vet she took the baby to, did tell her that there was NO milk in her lungs, that it was this bloated issue, pushing up her diaphram and causing the lungs from expanding completely, this caused fluid to settle in her lower lobes (atelectasis, NOT milk!) and she was started on antibiotics and put on Oxygen...she has made a Miraculous turn around! She is such a tenacious little fighter....my concern is about a congenital malformation with the intestines or stomach, that is preventing her from digesting correctly.....she gets very distended almost immediately following eating, even as little as 1/2cc.......Talida has help now and they are working in shifts...I am sure she was almost dead herself, working 24 hours ATC....
