Comfortis is a great monthly preventive!! Another thing you can do is buy a Capstar pill from your vet. A capstar will kill fleas quickly but doesn't prevent eggs from hatching, etc...If you see fleas, I would use a Capstar and a Comfortis this time. Capstar is actually safe enough it can be given every day although I would not give it daily. Go ahead and wash your linens and whatever else your little one has laid on, vacuum, etc... Good luck!

PS: Flea collars generally don't work well. A flea has to actually come in contact with the collar to die.
