Perhaps my technique won't work with your yorkie, as she doesn't consistently come to you. Tatiana consistently comes to me, especially for meal times. She just loves her food.

In fact, sometimes she's "waiting" for me to call her because she knows the approximate schedule for her meals.

Also, I think she likes the petting and praising she gets for non-meal calls, too.
Our yorkies different. They're motivated by different things.
