I start out with about 1/8 tsp and work up to 1 tsp/10 pound dog. If it's too much, the coat will start looking oily, so I back off to 1/2-3/4 tsp. I give it 2X daily on their food.

I'm not sure when I began to notice changes, maybe 2 weeks to 2 months... depends if the dose is right for the dog and the coat type. Drier coats may require more...

Oh... it solidifies at 76 degrees Fahrenheit, so I add a bit of boiled water (to the food) to liquefy it and distribute it throughout the food. Mine would probably eat it out of the jar, lol.
