It's totally a personal preference and Absolut isn't bottom shelf
I usually only use the equivalent of a single shot of alcohol in my cooking, so it isn't worth keeping a different "supply" for cooking.
Another good tip is to purchase airline sized single shot bottles for cooking. That way you aren't committed to an entire pint/quart of a product that you might not prefer to drink
