What a sweetie! I bet she misses you, too!
I had picked out the name Jaeger before we went and saw them, but I didn't really think we'd STICK with the name, because sometimes they name themselves. There were 5 pups, and they all came and said hi at one point, but Jaeger kept coming back to me and was so spunky and outgoing compared to the rest. I didn't pick the pup to match the name, but it did suit him so we kept it.
I now think the name found me, and it was meant for this pup alone....I always wanted to train a therapy dog, and he loves kids, soldiers, and people in general. He knows when people are sick and will curl right up at their side or on our chests. He's the right dog for us.
I truly think pups know us from the inside out, and they choose where they want to go. |
