Glad the OP has a go bag for her pets. As an Emergency Preparedness Coordinator for Public Health, I speak about personal preparedness to civic groups throughout the county. Its all well and fine to be ready to get you famility out...but as important to get your pets too...THEY ARE FAMILY too

I reccomend every one go to
www.ready.gov and check out ways to prepare you and your family to respond to the types of disaster/emergencies that can happen in your area. Remember there is power in being prepared...there is only panic if your complacent.
