When we gave Dinky more room, he would do great for a couple of days, then he would "backslide." So we just would restrict him to the kitchen again, usually for a couple of weeks. He seemed to understand why he lost his roaming privileges.
It seems that he was not super duper trained for good until he was 8 or 9 months old. It was worth the effort. |
