We have a Yorkie boy, Teddy, who is one year and 3 months old. He's usually perfectly healthy and lively boy, who adores us, especially my husband. He's very spoiled!!
Yesterday we took him to the vet for his annual shots, he was scared a bit, but everything went normal. We then went home and later in the evening went to have dinner with our friends, who also brought their boxer puppy (2months old). They didn't go along very well, and Teddy was very aggressive towards Rex (the boxer), but I didn't notice anything unusual.
He was lying next to my husband on our bed and my husband was playing music on his iPad, when Teddy started whinning and acting scared. My husband turned off iPad and comforted him, he calmed down a bit. But something went off since then. He didn't sleep on our bed (which is where he normally insist on sleeping, tucked between us).
This morning, when my husband went to pick him up, he was trembling and being very scared. He didn't want us to touch him and would just run away. He wouldn't eat his favorite chicken, treats. I am not sure why is that? We never spank him or anything. He normally loves being cuddled, but now he runs away and whines??? Any idea as to why all of sudden he's so scared of us, especially my husband, whom he usually loves more than me? We're at lost
