When Gracie was about 6 months old she started trying to rush out the door when ever it would open. She got out a couple of times and we had to run all over trying to catch her. It's amazing how fast those little legs can run. One time she went out the door with the cable guy that was working on our internet connection. If he had no seen her out there I would not have known she had gotten out. Anyway, at that point I decided I needed to put a collar and ID tag on her. Most of the break away cat collars are safe for a puppy. I have heard of some of the freak accidents that have happened to a few people on YT. I felt because of the circumstances that she needed the ID tag at that point. Later when she was spayed I had her micro chipped but I still feel more comfortable knowing that if she ever got lost I would have a better chance of getting her back more quickly with the tag on. She also has a cat bell on her collar. There are a few varieties available online that are quite safe. |
