Jackson almost always wears a collar (except at night, or after bath time, etc).
Never experienced a problem with collars and any of our dogs or family members dogs.
I like him being collared and tagged, as I am not the only one that lives here, and if God forbid he ever got out when I wasn't here, I want him to have identification. He's also microchipped for added peace of mind.
I just know that any lost dog I've ever found, I automatically first look for a collar. Otherwise a lot of people assume an uncollared dog is probably a stray, at least in my experience.
Not to mention my collar addiction.
I'm always shopping for collars. He's got two leather ones he rotates between now.
